The story of Chinatown Church of Christ (CCoC) started with Rev. William Chen and his wife Jennifer getting involved with serving Cambodian and Vietnamese refugees in the Chinatown area in the late 1970s. Times were hard but the Lord provided and moved others to support their ministry. Church of Christ of Bellflower came to support CCoC financially and bought the current facility for them. Rev. Chen, his wife, and others continue to faithfully serve the congregation as the Lord enables them to do so.
